South Tyrolean wines

FROM OUR VINEYARDS FOR YOU

vini trentino alto adige

Speckhouse has carefully selected the fine wines produced in the family estates.
The main estate is that of Castello Rametz, founded before 1200. Around 1860 the Pinot Nero vine was grown here for the first time in South Tyrol, as well as Riesling Renano, Pinot Nero, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The optimal situation, with regards to both landscape and climate, and the cultivation of vines according to the Guyot system have for centuries facilitated the production of high quality white, red and sparkling wines, often awarded for their excellence. In the vineyards of the Rametz estate, we don’t use concrete poles for the construction of the pergolas in the vineyards, but instead chestnut wood. In the production of all wines, we maintain our traditions and respect for nature, albeit with modern methods.

The cellars, where fantastic barrels and fine barriques are kept, date back to the 1200s and 1600s. Ten hectares of our own vineyards surround the Rametz Estate. Speckhouse has selected the best products for you. You can always find white, red, sparkling and cru wines on sale in the estate shop, please visit us in the wine shop!
